Heavy Metal Band ‘MüttonGüt’ Tours in Style in New Greyhound Ad

Greyhound - Tour in Style

Travelling by bus may not be your dream way of touring around the US, but in a new ad for Greyhound, (fictional) metal band MüttonGüt does just that as their manager somehow scooped up $1 fares for the whole band. Soon the group has settled in with the other passengers, taking advantage of the extra legroom, free wifi and power outlets. There’s even time to share makeup tips to get that “smoldering eye effect”..

The ad was created by BSSP, and directed by Erich Joiner for Tool of NA.

If you’d like to check out more MüttonGüt, here’s a clip of Snake Venom Cognac.

Blinkbox Promotes Game of Thrones with Giant Dragon Skull on British Beach

Blinkbox Game of Thrones Dragon Skull

It’s not unusual for explorers to find ancient fossils in the area around Chartmouth on the south coast of England. The village is at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, where nearly 185 million years of the Earth’s history is on display in rock formations.

But even the most experienced fossil hunter was forced to do a double take as a dragon skull the size of a bus appeared in the sand. The skull, measuring 40 feet long and over 9 feet tall, is a promotion announcing the arrival of the third season of HBO’ Game of Thrones on TV streaming service Blinkbox.

The promotion was created by London PR company Taylor Herring, and took three sculptors nearly two months to design, construct and paint.

Shadow of ‘Game of Thrones’ Dragon Appears on Los Angeles Office Tower

Game of Thrones - Dragon Shadow

You couldn’t blame drivers in LA for slowing down or doing a double-takes as they saw what appeared to be the shadow of a huge dragon against the size of a Sunset Boulevard office tower. The billboard promotes Season 3 of Game of Thrones which returns to HBO on March 31.

But the dragon sightings aren’t just confined to the west coast, the shadow of one of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons can also spotted in a NY Times spread earlier this week.

New Zealand DJs Play Peeping Toms in ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl’ Stunt

Secret Life of a Call Girl - New Zealand promo

On November 19, More-FM drivetime host Clarke Gayford began discussing a provocative scene unfolding in the window of a home across the street. A woman, who appeared to be a prostitute was interacting with her clients in full view of the radio station’s broadcast studios. Over the next 2 days, the activity in the window became the talk of the show, with Gayford and his on-air team providing a play-by-play description for their listeners.

All was revealed (pun intended) on the third day as it turned out to the whole event was a stunt for the new season of ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl‘ on New Zealand’s Prime.

Agency DraftFCB Auckland had taken a brief calling for a 30 second radio ad, and turned into a stunt that played out on the air and on social media by their hosts and listeners of 3 of Auckland’s top radio stations.
