UNO NYC Music App Only Streams While Users are on the Williamsburgh Bridge

UNO NYC - W.B.B.R.

Created by agency Sid Lee in partnership with designer Eric Hu, the W.B.B.R. app streams music curated by electronic dance label UNO NYC.

But you can’t just listen to the app anywhere, the app only streams music while you are on the Williamsburg Bridge in New York City, playing an upbeat track while and a more chilled track while going down. New tracks will be added daily from the roster of UNO artists including Mykki Blanco, Feral, Dutch E. Germ and Gobby.

Mark’s Transit Ads Promote Discounts Based on the Day’s Forecasted Low Temperature

Mark's Temperature Discounts

Weather in the Toronto area this January has been downright frigid, but that’s good news for shoppers as the colder it gets outside the more they can save at Mark’s Work Wearhouse stores. A daily discount is tied to the day’s forecasted low, with a -15 C reading earning people a 15% discount.

The discounts are being promoted on 40 digital displays that display the real-time temperature pulled from data for downtown Toronto from World Weather Online.

The campaign was created by Mark’s agency Sid Lee working directly with Astral Out-of-Home on the execution.

Vitaminwater France Celebrates the Triumphs of Everyday Athletes

Vitamin Water Athletes

Usain Bolt, Gabby Douglas, Michael Phelps; these are just three of the superstar athletes that captured the world’s attention during the last two weeks of the London Olympics. But, what about those millions of regular everyday folks who are playing their favorite sports without the world’s attention?

To give these everyday athletes a thrill (although a few in the video don’t look particularly thrilled at the attention) Vitaminwater France hired a real sports commentator to hide in the bushes near sport locations and provide a running description of the athletes activity. Maybe something is lost in translation, but hearing the announcer implore the swimmer with, “Don’t stop, little salmon, don’t give up! Go lay your eggs all the way up that podium” is a little weird.

No medals were on the line for these folks, but they were offered up bottles of Vitaminwater for their athletic effort. Stay hydrated little salmon.

The campaign was created by Sid Lee Paris.
